Victor Penny, the author of the Gravity Bender series, is a retired officer of the United States Regular Army, an empty nester (almost; one more to get through college), and a lifelong science fiction nerd. He is inspired by Star Trek (all of them); 2001: A Space Odyssey; and countless authors, past and present. He lives with his family in Virginia while he searches for the perfect beach property. (He was also inspired by Jaws–but just the first one.)
